Please take a moment of time today to remember Pearl Harbor Day and remember those that gave the ultimate sacrifice for our nation and our Navy.  Below is an excellent article about remembering that day and lesson from the Day of Infamy.  One major lesson from that day as the article states is "that together we can accomplish more than any one".  This is so true, as a nation we came together for a national purpose and we must never forget the sacrifices of those before us and learn from those lessons to continue to make this country the best it could be.

You know the type. The people with obnoxious laughs, pushy pitches, and the ability to corner you at industry conferences and talk about themselves continuously for what seems like hours? The ones who clearly mean well, but their lack of etiquette can make you wish you hadn't even gone?

Last year I went through the Concealed Handgun License course in San Antonio, TX. During the shooting phase of the course I was paired up with a lovely lady who was in her late 70's and had some difficulties loading magazine so I loaded them all for her and for myself when it was my turn on the firing line. She shot a very old German Luger and was very accurate throwing lead down range. This story reminded me of her.

Economy gains no jobs in August, rate holds at 9.1%

The US economy created no jobs and the unemployment rate held steadily higher at 9.1 percent in August, fueling concerns that the US is heading for another recession.
