Monkeys

I got this in an email and thought it was very appropriate to our current political situation. Here goes.....
Start with a cage containing five monkeys. Inside the cage, hang a banana on a string and place a set of stairs under it. Before long, a monkey will go to the stairs and start to climb towards the banana.
As soon as he touches the stairs, spray all the other monkeys with cold water. After a while another monkey makes the attempt with same result, all the other monkeys are sprayed with cold water. Pretty soon when another Monkey tries to climb the stairs, the other monkeys will try to prevent it.

NAVAL HISTORY.
The U.S.S. Constitution (Old Ironsides), as a combat vessel, carried 48,600 gallons of fresh water for her crew of 475 officers and men. This was sufficient to last six months of sustained operations at sea. She carried no evaporators (i.e. fresh water distillers).
However, let it be noted that according to her ship's log, "On July 27, 1798, the U.S.S. Constitution sailed from Boston with a full complement of 475 officers and men, 48,600 gallons of fresh water, 7,400 cannon shot, 11,600 pounds of black powder and 79,400 gallons of rum."
Her mission: "To destroy and harass English shipping."
Making Jamaica on 6 October, she took on 826 pounds of flour and 68,300 gallons of rum.
Who is watching the gates

Today while traveling through Chicago International Airport (ORD) I was taking the shuttle bus from arrival terminal F over to departure terminal C. While standing in the line to go down the stairs to board the bus i did a bit of a security scan and noticed that the DHS worker at the gate looked a bit different. When I walked past him I noticed his name was _____, Muhammad and could not help but wonder who is watching our gates.

I received an email from barakobama.com today and am curious about how this was possible. I have never visited his website, nor have I signed up to receive his propaganda emails. I have even signed up on the do not spam list. Is his websited using the do not spam list to actuall auto subscribe people to his site and email list? I sent an unsubscribe message today and will see how long it takes to get off their list.
