We must be idiots
I want everyone who reads this to think of the following scenario.
You are living at home with your spouse and two children.? You have two cars and basically, enjoy a normal middle-class lifestyle in suburban USA.? Your family's combined income is $75,000 per year.
Today you were told that mother and father will be moving into your house because they cannot afford to pay for their own home.? Also, your brother and his family (wife and three children) will move in next month and your neighbor across the street will also move into your house because they cannot afford to pay their utility bills and their power was turned off.? Because of the extra people living in your house, you will now need to buy another car, more groceries, pay higher utility bills and probably hire a maid to help with the chores.
I have one question.? Do you think you can absorb the new additions to your household, maintain the same lifestyle and save money at the same time?
Come on now be honest!? Can you do it?
Ok then - so why do politicians keep telling us that the Government can bring 47,000,000 new users into the health care system and it will save us, taxpayers, money? They must think we are idiots.
